Hello, I'm Jessica Brooks. Aura + Olive is a lifestyle blog focusing on home design, food & wine, entertaining and wellness. It's a place where I explore and share the activities, places and experiences that convey, well, an Aura of delight and peace. Olives - the fruit, trees and oil - also represent peace, as well as harmony, health, abundance, beauty, and of course, food!

I started this blog to reconnect with my joys and core values in a creative way. I’m reflecting on the points in life where I was lost in examination, a creative endeavor or a magical place in ways that gave me fulfillment and shaped my passions: home, food, entertaining and experiences. I believe these aspects of life etch so much meaning into it. For me,  it's important to slow down, find these moments, relax and enjoy them.
